When your PC is on for quite some time and you feel like your computer is framing a bit, you can use this option to perform a quick reboot.

1)Open Task Manager(Ctrl+Alt+Del)
2) Go to Processes tab. Sort all the processes by user name(Click on the username tab in the process list).
3) For every process under your user name, Right click and End the process. You can close all the processes including the explorer.exe (avoid closing taskbar as this method needs it. In case you end that too, its not a problem as u can get it back by Ctrl+Alt+Del).
4) Once all the processes are killed, go to Applications tab and click on New Task. Browse to C:/WINDOWS and select explorer.exe. Click on open and then OK.

Note: This is not equivalent to a system reboot. As this method will not refresh the windows registry , you cant use this as an equivalent to system reboot(for example, when you install a new software and it prompts for a system reboot)
