System drive running out of space? Try this.....
Should you encounter a situation when you are running out of space on system drive (usually C: drive), dont waste your time deleting some files, often compromising its value to you. Try out the below options and you could save upte 4 GB atleast.
1) Check if "Hibernate" is selected.
Control Panel --> Power options---> Hbernate Tab
Uncheck this first. You might not need this (atleast for a time being)
2) Change Virtual memory location.
My Computer ---> Properties ---> Advanced---> Click on settings under "Performance" ---> Advanced ---> Click change under "Virtual memory"
Here select drive "C" and select "No Paging" radio button. Select some other drive(say D. select custom size and specify Initial Size (MB) as 512 and Maximum Sie(MB) as 1024. Click on set and ok.
You will have to restart he comp to see the changes.
***WARNING***
Donot try this if you dont understand even a single point mentioned above.Even a slight mistake might prove fatal to your system
