Q1) What is the difference between Pentium 4 CPU 2.8GHz and Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz? Which is better and faster?

A1) yes, they are two different processors. the P4 is a single core processor while the core 2 duo is a dual core. the dual core is much more efficient and produces more work and less heat than the P4. they can also be different on slot.
